This is the 1st Irish factory built certified Passive House built in Clonmel, Co Tipperary. The house was manufactured in our Cahir factory and erected on site in 2 weeks. The triple glazed windows, electricity conduits and internal Fermacell boards were fitted in the factory to PassiveHaus standards. The house achieves a PHPP calculation of 11kwh/m2/annum and an Airtightness figure of 0.6/hr at 50Kp which is well within the PassivHaus criteria so we are confident of certification.

The walls are insulated with pumped Cellulose Insulation and are lined Externally with Woodfibre Insulation boards which are plastered directly.

The walls are lined internally with Fermacell and the house is built on our PassivHaus certified foundation system making this a Thermal Bridge free construction. The HRV Air will be pre-heated in the Conservatory by a few degrees in the Coldest Winter Days.
